We were founded in 1997 and our goal is to provide our customers with excellent value on professional hair and skin care. We pride ourselves on the quality while also ensuring that our customers have an enjoyable experience.
Over the years, our staff has developed a group of loyal clients that can attest to our quality service. We hope to grow and expand our "Burrard Hair Family" in the years to come.

About Our Founder
I started working with hair and beauty services over 25 years ago in 1990. Growing up I knew that I wanted to work with people, and I found joy, purpose, and meaning by helping others. The salon offered me a way to meet interesting people while also working to improve the lives of others by helping them look and feel their best.
I feel great when I’ve helped someone look and feel better. Over the past 25 years I’ve served many wonderful clients, many are still loyal and return regularly…in a way they’ve become family…I smile when I see my younger client’s blossom into adults.
I feel fortunate to work in this business, it’s a privilege to have met and served so many clients over so many years. I don’t see myself retiring from this work for a long time! I am thankful for having the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the world even though it seems small in the grand scheme of things.

Lynn has been cutting my hair, and the hair of my daughter, for a couple of years,- from when my daughter was only 3. She's amazing with small children, and takes plenty of time to help them feel comfortable. One time my daughter was unhappy (I think maybe she was hungry that day!) and Lynn was amazing and so low-pressure about it, she really diffused things.
She's an excellent hairdresser and stylist, I'm really happy to have her work with my hair. She knows her stuff and is very professional.
Finally, she is taking COVID seriously. At this time, she is the only person working in the salon, there's only you and her (and maybe, at the end of your appointment, the next customer) in the space at once -- and everyone is masked, of course. There is plenty of sanitiser to use. It feels safe.

October, 2020This place is a hidden gem! My daughter and I were desperate for a haircut and highlights but avoiding salons because of COVID-19. A friend told me that this salon was very clean and very careful about social distancing precautions, so we decided to give it a try and we’re very pleased. During the pandemic, Linh is the only stylist in the salon and only takes singles or small family groups at a time, so there is nobody else in the salon. She wears a mask the whole time, passed us hand sanitizer when we had to touch something, and made us feel very safe. As for the hairstyling ....
Linh really knows her stuff! She listened carefully to our requests, gave constructive feedback about styles that would or would not work for us, and communicated throughout the process. We were very happy with our new cuts and highlights. Excellent job for a very reasonable price.

They don't just grab clippers and begin buzzing, like so many others do. Definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a consistent and positive hairdresser experience.

January, 2020Just got my hair done here and I love it! The hair dresser really listened to what i wanted and reviewed everything she was going to do just to be extra clear. I will 100 percent be going back bc on top of everything the prices were actually reasonable... Unlike many hairdressers in Vancouver. Would give her 6 stars if it were an option!
